Description: Cigar and Port Tasting @ Bitner Vineyards ...Elegance. Pearls and Lace. Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. Port and cigars. The meal is over; relaxed guests retire to more comfortable surroundings or head to the patio to partake in a traditional pleasure, Port and cigars. This is a “must do” event if you are a cigar smoker or “wanna be.” This event involves the aromas of cigar smoke and Port wine, an excellent combo. The event combines 2 different cigars with 6 Ports of various styles from different regions of the world. The cigars are focused around smooth, rich flavor, with 2 different wrapper types. Also included for the ladies, or those newly experimenting, will be an up-scale vanilla flavored cigar. Ryan Sturman, a local aficionado from Boise’s Sturman’s Smoke Shop will present the cigars, explain cigar etiquette and entertain questions. This cigar and Port tasting is intended for all levels of experience: beginning cigar smokers, beginning Port drinkers and enthusiasts of either fare who have yet to partake of the other luxury, and those who already engage in both pleasures and want to learn about the principles for pairing these two together. ..Fee: $25 per person...
