This class introduces the basic concepts to wine and food paring by identifying what makes a difference in food that influences the taste of wine and how to make wine selections based on those influences. This hands-on class gives one a better understanding of food flavors, preparation methods and spice influences that can assist in selecting wines. It also provides an understanding in selecting side dishes that can compliment both the main entrée and wine selection. This promises to be a culinary delight with a 7 coarse dinner of small bites and a sampling of wines to enhance your learning experience. If you love food and wine, don’t miss this one!
