Our Wines
Bitner Vineyards were planted in 1981, with the first production in 1985. There are 15 acres planted to Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Merlot, Shiraz, Petite Verdot and Voignoir. In 1995 We started a long term relationship with Greg Koenig of Koenig Winery and Distillery. Greg makes wines from us each year under his own label and in 1997 started to make reserve wines for us under the Bitner Vineyard label. The wines made by Greg from our grapes have received national attention.
Several recent write ups from Wine Press Northwest Magazine follow. Bitner Vineyards wines are currently available direct from us, Idaho State Liquor Dispensaries, Wine Styles in Boise, Music of the Vine in Caldwell, Grape Escape in Boise and Boise Wine Co-Op. Our tasting room is now open on Fri-Sun, 12 noon-5pm. We are located in the heart of wine country in the Treasure Valley in Caldwell. For more information please call: (208) 455-1870.
